Summary

Public House, formerly farmhouse. Late 18th century and 1833. Rubble stone walls with dressed stone quoins. Stone gable-copings. Thatch roof with brick chimney stacks at each gable-end. L-Plan: west wing dated 1833 and formerly cellar. East wing is original farmhouse with fireplace at west end. Two storeys.

Played at the Pub. Images for an English Heritage book for publication in July 2009. Job 2K/15527 contains copy photographs of a pamphlet called 'The Story of Pub Games' published by the Brewers and Licensed Retailers Association in 1996. Job 2K/11794 includes copy photographs of parts of the Devizes and District Rifle League rulebook for 1955. Several jobs feature images of people with no indication of model release having been obtained.
