Full Description

An area of ground disturbance (at SY 801973) to the south of St Andrew's Church may be the result of desertion. Further south at SY 801972 are a series of small banked enclosures possibly representing old fields or former gardens associated with the manor house. <1>

The most prominent feature here is a ditch, visible from SY 80029710 to SY 80089725. Elsewhere only one or two low banks and ditches can be seen, and one or two vague (unsurveyable) platforms. The area of disturbance at SY 801973 is largely the result of quarrying. No survey action. <2>
