Please read our .

Summary

Former watermill and corn mill extant in the 19th century. Three-storeyed plus basement, walls of rough hamstone, now plastered. Undershot wheel. When recorded in 1965, it was in poor condition, having been last used in 1940, when the equipment was stripped for the war effort. The mansard roof was falling in and it was used as a dump for the remains of scrap cars. OS mastermap shows a roofed building on the same ground plan - condition of the watermill unknown.
