Please read our .

Summary

The Pillbox Study Group note the former position of a segmented, precast concrete Stanton-type air-raid shelter at about this location on vertical aerial photography dated January 1947. The shelter is associated with a small camp of military huts - presumably a dispersal from RAF Tarrant Rushton to the west.
