Full Description
Plough-levelled round barrow visible as a circular, annular cropmark with an estimated diameter of c20 metres on aerial photographs dated 2017, and as a faint, indistinct chalky soilmark potentially indicative of residual mound material on aerial photographs dated 2008. The location is on a hillslope, but may be 'false-crested' when viewed from the floor of the Piddle Valley.
The ring ditch is 20m across and was digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
