Full Description

[SY 50059515] FIELD SYSTEMS:- Taken from air photos in January-March 1949 by R.J.C Atkinson. <1>

Lynchets, 3/4 mile N.E. of LODERS church extend for nearly 1/2 mile. The terraces are from 15 to 65 ft wide, but are irregular towards the W. end. <2>

FIELD SYSTEM [G.T] <3>

T2 is correct. The lynchets are pronounced, grass covered and situated on a hillside sloping to the south. Only in the area of A (Centred at SY 50209525) can they be said to be parallel strip lynchets. See AP CPE/UK/2431/4161. <4>
