Full Description
A small shallow round bottomed pit or scoop containing early prehistoric pottery was found during the evaluation of the Corfe Mullen to Salisbury Water Transfer Scheme route. It was recorded near the west end of Trench 1 on the site of the extended Sturminster Marshall Pumping Station.
The record for this monument has been created with support from Wessex Water.
