Full Description
A plough-levelled round barrow comprising an inner ditch with an estimated diameter of 15 metres and a concentric outer ditch with an estinated diameter of 22 metres, visible as a circular annular cropmark on aerial photographs dated 2005 and 2009. No other internal features or mound material could be discerned. The site was digitally recorded from aerial photographs (1) during the Dorset Upper Cern and Piddle AIM Project. Traces of an internal mound are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery (2).
