Summary

A slightly irregular circular soilmark visible on aerial photographs dated 2002 and 2005. This ring-ditch is interpreted as the remains of a round barrow, much reduced by ploughing. The site of this barrow was digitally recorded from aerial photographs during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.

Full Description

Plough-levelled round barrow visible as a slightly sub-circular annular soilmark with an estimated diameter of c19metres on aerial photographs dated 2002 and 2005. No evidence was seen for a mound or other associated features.

The site of this barrow was digitally recorded from aerial photographs during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project <1>. It comprises an outer ring ditch 21m across with faint traces of an internal bank.
