Summary

Plough-levelled round barrow visible as a slightly sub-circular annular soilmark on aerial photographs dated 2002 and 2005. This feature was identified as a ploughed out chalk pit, marked on the OS 1st edition Map and was recorded as such during the Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.

Full Description

Plough-levelled round barrow visible as a slightly sub-circular annular soilmark with a diameter of c24 m on aerial photographs dated 2002 and 2005, No evidence for a surviving mound or internal features could be discerned. This feature is a ploughed out chalk pit, marked on the OS 1st edition Map <1>.
