Please read our .

Summary

A post medieval pit excavated in 1998 during an archaeological evaluation of the redevelopment of the site. The filling of the pit contained pottery and tile of the 18th and 19th centuries, and pieces of daub, which the archaeologists on site felt might indicate that the pit was open during clearance following the fire of 1731.
