Summary

A length of approximately 24 metres of stone gutter running along the western side of Drummond Road, one of three parallel roads in the area, called the Swanage Lanes. The gutter is constructed of blocks of local Purbeck stone. The date of the road is not known, but it is likely to have originated in association with stone quarrying and the movement of stone from quarries to the south.
