Full Description
An early modern wood bank or military earthwork, which may date to between the First World War and the 1930s, is visible as an earthwork on undated aerial photographs (probably 1930s in date) on Wool Heath, Affpuddle. The trackway is located within the Bovington Camp Tank Training Area. The earthwork consists of a linear bank, oriented south west-north east, measuring approximately 35 m in length. (1) This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
