A scattered area of eight possible bomb craters or fox holes are visible as earthworks on undated aerial photographs (probably 1930s in date) within the area of the First and Second World War Bovington Tank Training Site, on Wool Heath. The earthworks consist of seven sub-circular depressions measuring up to 8 m in diameter and one semi-circular ditch. The features are visible over an area measuring approximately 135 m by 400 m.
