An area of trackways, which may date to between the First World War and Second World War, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s within Moreton Plantation, Affpuddle. They are probably associated with the tank training area of Bovington Camp, located to the east.

An area of trackways, which may date to between the First World War and Second World War, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s within Moreton Plantation, Affpuddle. They are probably associated with the tank training area of Bovington Camp, located to the east. The trackways are curvilinear and formed of banks and ditches. They are visible over an area measuring aproximately 1120 m by 405 m. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
