A large area of disturbed ground, possibly the result of post medieval extraction to the west of Hill Bottom Plantation. The features are visible as earthworks aerial photographs and lidar (1-3). The site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
