'Observation 10: At SY 71098974, on the access route from the West Stafford road, a small trench was cut by the contractors. A gulley, 0.4 m wide and 0.5 m deep, was recorded running east-west. The upper fill of the gulley contained some topsoil, but was otherwise silted with achalky clay loam. Possibly a small agricultural division.'
