Full Description
A series of nineteenth century cess pits were found beneath the former Salvation Army Barracks on Castle Street during excavations by Poole Museum on the Old Orchard Car park site in 1973. These must pre-date the construction of the Salvation Army Barracks in the late 19th century. (1)
