Summary

One of a group of nine barrows known as the Southover Heath Group. In 1970 it was reported that this monument was ploughed almost flat. This barrow is visible as a low mound 14m across on lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM.

Full Description

'B' Bowl barrow, 16.0m diameter and 0.6m high with no surrounding ditch, but much ploughed and spread. <2>

'B' (18) SY 80699547 Bowl barrow, 25 yds south east of 'A' is now ploughed almost flat. <3-4>

'B'. SY 80689546. Barrow as described, almost ploughed out (height 0.3 metres). Resurveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <5>

This barrow is visible as a low mound 14m across on lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM. [7]
