Full Description

A linear feature running from east to west, interpreted as being probably a ditch. The excavators commented that the upper limit of the feature was difficult to define, that it may be cut through layer 6, and that ground water was evident at 1.00m depth. The filling of the feature contained medieval pottery. (1)(2)
