Full Description
A sub circular hollow feature on Black Hill, Cerne Abbas, is visible as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery [2, 3]. The feature is recorded on the OS 1st Edition map as a chalk pit [1]. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.
