Full Description
A bowl barrow. Diameter 21 paces, height 51/2 ft. Hollow centre. <2>
A grass covered bowl barrow with no trace of a ditch. Diameter 19.0 metres, height 1.5 metres. A large excavation on the
south-west side has cut into the centre.<3>
SY 74129650. Bowl barrow, 61ft. diameter and 5ft. high at the south end of a ridge; has been dug into from the south side,
almost to the centre. <4>
"SY 742968 and SY 741965. Two round barrows south-west of Well House Cottage". Scheduled. <5>
SY 74119650. Bowl barrow as described by RCHM (4), not ploughed. Diameter 19.0 metres, east-west by 16.0 metres north- south, height 2.0 metres. No visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <6>
The site of this barrow is visible as a low earth mound on lidar imagery. It was digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. <8>
