Summary

Long stone works building with office block of two storeys at west end, at an angle but joined into a much larger and taller stone works. Built between 1900 and 1927. The office block had been demolished by September 2007.

Full Description

Long stone works building with office block of two storeys at west end. Latter is ivy covered, with slate roof and two chimneys. Where not covered with ivy, external west wall is inscribed: '’[PORTL]AND STONE FIRMS LTD.' Building, with timber roof members, at an angle but joined into a much larger and taller stone works. Built between 1900 and 1927. (1-2) The office block had been demolished by September 2007. (3)
