Branch from main Merchants' Railway at head of Tillycombe ascends short steep incline into Waycroft Quarries. Passes under three bridges, and in good state of preservation. (1) It was built after 1863 to replace the original incline to East Drum which was destroyed during the Verne fort construction works. The railway and its branches continued to Withies Croft Quarries, crossed Easton Lane and ended at Bowers Quarries on the west cliffs.(2-4) Disused by 1926.
