Full Description

Large limekiln of unusual design, probably late C19 but not shown on maps until 1926-7 because government property was previously blanked out. (1) Most surviving in February 2007, with well dressed stonework of kiln at west end (but in poor structural condition) and long loading ramp with arches (for storage?) beneath on the east side.(2)
