Summary

Stone-built office block. Not outstanding architecturally but its historical significance is recorded by two wall inscriptions. Inscribed stone in south wall reads ' BATH AND PORTLAND STONE FIRMS LTD OFFICES', and stone in west wall reads 'STEWARDS & CO LIMITED STONE MERCTS OFFICES', with 'LATE' added. In 2007 the building was the Portland Lodge (bed & breakfast) and the inscribed words were covered over by signs for this establishment.

Stone-built office block. Not outstanding architecturally but its historical significance is recorded by two wall inscriptions. Inscribed stone in south wall reads ' BATH AND PORTLAND STONE FIRMS LTD OFFICES', and stone in west wall reads 'STEWARDS & CO LIMITED STONE MERCTS OFFICES', with 'LATE' added.
