Small quarry, indicated on 1901 map. (1)

The limestone quarry described above (in 1) is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s. The quarries are visible over an area measuring approximately 95 m by 40 m. (2) The site is still visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (3) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
