Full Description
Mentioned in 1894, with foreman W. Flew (1). First named as a quarry on 1927 map (2) which shows a crane. Earlier maps are unclear. This is a small clifftop quarry protected by a stack of stone blocks. Fossil trees are exposed on part of the floor. (3)
