Drystone arch of fine proportions with date stone inscribed JC Lano 1854. Listing calls this 'foot bridge over track or quarry rail bed'. It carried waste tramway over a branch of Merchants' Railway and/or lower tipping tramway. Map of 1863 appears to show the bridge with a tramway passing beneath and a road trackway over it (1).
