Summary

A house built in 1786, later adapted for use as a school, and now offices. Called Agriculture House. An inscription on the front reads "Girls School" with the gable inscribed "1850-1910". It then became the Thomas Hardye's School lower school. The building is of rendered brick with a hipped slate roof.

Full Description

Wollaston House, a two-storeyed red-brick building with attics and cellars, built in 1786 according to the foundation stone in the cellar. The symmetrical main front has a central porch with Ionic columns and pilasters supporting an entablature. The house was altered and adapted as a school. Now offices. <1>
