Description
1. ACLAND ROAD 5191 Wollaston House SY 6990 7/16 8.5.50. II
2. 5 window front, 2 storeys and attic. Red brick late C18 house standing in own grounds. Entrance front has projecting porch with Composite columns supporting entablature. Fluted frieze. Good semi-circular fanlight. Double doors with 6 fielded panels. Stone plinth. Moulded stone cornice with enrichment of alternate fluting and paterae. Parapet has moulded stone coping with angle vases. 2 dormers. Back elevation is stucco with central round-headed window to 1st floor. 2 dormers. At each end is parapetted gable and rectangular chimney-stack. Kneelers to gables. Rear looks C19.
