Summary

A bowl barrow. In 1970 this monument was reported as being ploughed, and surviving as a very slight earthwork. The barrow was recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project, it is visible as a cropmark ring ditch on aerial photographs with a slight internal mound on lidar imagery.

A bowl barrow. (No dimensions given). <2>

A grass covered bowl barrow with no evidence of a ditch or excavation. Diameter 23.0 metres, height 0.9 metres.<3>

(SY 72789719) Bowl barrow, almost completely ploughed out, 300 yds. West-south-west of Bourne Farm. <4>

SY 72789719. Barrow, ploughed-down; diameter 18.0 metres, height 0.5 metres. No visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500
on MSD. <5>

The barrow was recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project, it is visible as a cropmark ring ditch 22m across on aerial photographs, with a slight internal mound on lidar imagery <7-8>.
