Full Description
Three ditches running N-S were found by AC archaeology during works at Dorchester Middle School, Coburg Road, Dorchester in 1998 (1) (2). The largest ditch was flat-bottomed and measured 2.5m wide, filled with light yellowish-brown clay. The other two ditches were smaller in scale. No dating evidence was recovered, but the character of the fill suggests a possible prehistoric date.
