Full Description
Lynchets on the south slope of South Warren Hill consist of four terraces with an average width of 22 feet. <1>
Lynchets centred at SY 484991 are as described above. They are of medieval type, long and well-pronounced, approximately parallel and grass-covered. <2>
A series of parallel lynchets are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on the slopes of South Warren Hill <4-5>. They are considered to be of medieval origin and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
