Summary

A Bronze Age bowl barrow lying at the southern end of Lambert's Castle Iron Age hillfort. The barrow has been mutilated and is now an irregular mound with no traces of a quarry ditch, though this will survive as a buried feature. The mound is likely to have been around 13m in diameter and 0.75m high. It is not visible on aerial photographs.

Full Description

A Bronze Age bowl barrow lying at the southern end of Lambert's Castle Iron Age hillfort. The barrow has been mutilated and is now an irregular mound with no traces of a quarry ditch. It is not visible on aerial photographs and was therefore not recorded during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
