Summary

A series of parallel lynchets are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on the slopes of Gold Hill. They are considered to be of medieval origin and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

There are also lynchets on the north slopes of Gold Hill. <3>

Lynchets centred in three areas, and visible on air photograph … 'A' (ST 492000). Long contour following grass-covered strip lynchets, well pronounced and approximately parallel. <4>
