Area A - mainly weak, irregular and scattered lynchets of Medieval type except on either side of the hill between WADDON COPSE and SYMES'S HILL COPSE where they are parallel and pronounced strip lynchets. The area is partly under grass, partly under the plough and partly tree covered.

Area B. Three well developed and parallel strip lynchets on a hillside sloping steeply to the south. There is evidence that the lynchets are breaking and slipping slightly downhill. Grass and bush covered.

Area C A small area of grass covered and fairly weak strip lynchets on low lying land.

Area D. Pronounced and approximately parallel strip lynchets partly under grass and partly in woodland.
