Summary

Eighteenth century farmhouse with nineteenth century additions. It has whitewashed rubble walls and a half-hipped thatched roof. The record for this monument has been enhanced with support from Wessex Water.

(ST 86981434) Brookman's Farm (NAT). <1>

Brookman's Farm (86981434), house, is single-storeyed with attics and has walls of rubble with brick dressings, and thatched roofs; it is of 18th-century origin with 19th century additions. The S. range is symmetrical and of two bays with a central doorway. There is a large brick chimneybreast with stepped and weathered offsets on the gabled N. wall of the N. wing. <2>
