An 18th century house which was used as a cinema in the 20th century. The two storey building is built of brick with stone quoins and a tiled roof behind a parapet. The front elevation of the whole ground floor has been removed for the installation of modern shop fronts and the cinema entrance; however the brick arches and keystones of the former four windows remain. To the first floor there are five 6/6 double hung sash windows with glazing bars. The centre window has a classical stone surround. The attic has two dormers with hipped roofs and casement windows.
