Summary

Bronze Age bowl barrow forming part of the Winterbourne Poor Lot Barrow Group. In 1952 this monument was reported as being around 132 feet in diameter with a mound about 12 feet high, surrounded by a ditch. The mound has been disturbed, presumably in the course of antiquarian investigation.

Bronze Age bowl barrow forming part of the Winterbourne Poor Lot Barrow Group. The site is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs. {1-2}

Barrow, between the 400ft. and 500ft. contours on the E. part of Black Down.

'(7) … (k) bowl, or perhaps bell barrow, immediately S.E. of (j) and on the parish-boundary, is 132 ft. in diam. and 12 ft. high with a ditch 16 ft. wide, there are traces of a possible berm; it has been much disturbed.'
