Full Description
(SU 00910004) Nos 9 and 10 Church Street are two storeyed houses with attics, and have brick walls and tiled roofs. They are of the mid 18th century.
No. 9 has a two bay east front with a central doorway with a pedimental hood carried on shaped brackets. On the south is a
bowed shop window, probably of early 19th century. In No. 10 the original facade is obliterated by a modern shop front. <1>

‘(39) HOUSES, two adjacent, Nos. 9 and 10 Church Street, are two-storeyed with attics and have brick walls and tiled roofs; they are of the mid 18th century. No. 9 has a two-bay E. front with a central doorway with an open pediment hood on shaped brackets; on the S. is a bowed shop-window, probably of the early 19th century. In No. 10 the original façade is obliterated by a modern shop front.’
