Seventeenth century bridge over river Brit with rubble-stone walls and a stone parapet with flat coping-stones.

Full Description

The inside width of this stone built bridge is 3.4m. Coping walls are 5.0m wide with upper stones laced together with iron bands. There are no niches for pedestrians. Slightly humped back with no air of great antiquity - the stonework is carefully laid. <3>

'(2) Bridge, over the river Brit, 1,130 yards N.W. of the church, is of rubble and of two spans with a cut-water. The arches are two-centred and the structure may be of the 17th century or earlier.'
