2/63 Watford Bridge 7-8-52 - II
Road Bridge over river Brit, C17, or earlier. Rubble-stone walls. Stone parapet with flat coping-stones. 2 pointed segmental arches each side. One central cutwater on the upstream side, up to road level. Single track width. Length of parapet wall, 13 metres. Part of the bridge is in Netherbury CP. RCHM Dorset I, p 37(2).
