Summary

A roughly square cropmark visible on aerial photographs. Interpreted as an enclosure of probable prehistoric date. The features were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cern and Piddle AIM Project.

Full Description

SY 765981. Faint crop-mark of what appears to be the east and south sides of a single-ditched enclosure with rounded corner. Gaps in south side - one a possible entrance. Celtic field system (SY 79 NE 13) immediately to north. <1>

The curved section of ditch is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs <3-4> and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cern and Piddle AIM Project. The feature may be part of an undated enclosure, or part of a field boundary.
