Description

Exeter Archaeology carried out a desk-based assessment of the likely archaeological impacts during the construction of the preferred option for the West Bay coastal defence and harbour improvements scheme. This included a summary history of the harbour, previous archaeological discoveries and Listed Buildings. Borehole records from previous investigations relating to harbour improvements were also consulted.
