Description

Observations and recordings took place during groundworks due to its location in the historic core of Litton Cheney. Observation took place while the house foundation trench was in progress, this being just over a metre deep. Topsoil had a depth of about 0.3m and overlay a natural orangey-brown subsoil of sandy silt with orange and white mottles. No archaeological finds or features were discovered.
