Description

A single trench 30m by 1.5 m was excavated by Wessex Archaeology in November 1992, in order to evaluate an area of land to the rear of Nutcombe Terrace, proposed for development. No archaeological features were encountered. Deposits and slight earthworks in the surrounding area suggests this was an area of former quarrying.
