Description
Project consisted of an extended watching brief and auger, topographical and earthwork surveys along the route of the pipeline. Project located a Medieval bank and ditch and flint implements at SY 805 875; Roman and Medieval sites at SY 84518936; Roman pottery and a ditch of uncertain date at SY 8116 8821; a Medieval bank at SY 8019 8821; a Post Medieval site at SY 7445 8743; earthworks and ditch of an uncertain date at SY 7793 8744 and a ditch of uncertain date at SY 7820 8745.
