Description

Observations and recording by Steve Wallis of the Dorset County Council Archaeology Service during topsoil stripping close to a Wessex Water reservoir. The depth of material removed was between 0.10 and 0.12 metres. Much of the exposed surface was topsoil, with patches of stony subsoil showing through. No deposits or finds of archaeological significance were observed.
