Description
Evaluation consisting of the excavation of two trenches, one 20m by 1.6m and the other 5m by 1.6m placed within the footprint of the proposed development. No archaeological deposits were observed in Trench 1 which was in the area of a proposed swimming pool. One feature was seen in Trench 2; the remains of the foundations of a wall aligned north-east to south-west, thought to be of modern date and probably part of an extension demolished in the 1980s.
